Piston is a part of an engine. Piston can go up / down in cylinder. Piston can go down because of high pressure air. The energy from piston continue with connecting rod and crankshaft. Piston made from mix of aluminum or from pour steel. Pour steel piston is easily for expansion control. Piston ring use for divider between piston with cylinder.
