Crank Case is a lowest part from cylinder block. Crank Case made from pour iron or pour steel. Crank Case can became a unit with block cylinder, but also can separate, which bolt on block cylinder. The oil channel between the two components must can continued and no damage by leakage, so placed gasket or seal.
